Reading List Update #3

(from grandteuton.blogspot.com)

  • Well, I've thought of a few more books I'd like to recommend to my loyal readers here.
As before, I've included the full list from earlier posts so you don't have to go looking through the archives to see what all was on there.

Here's the original list (including the earlier updates), just in case you haven't finished them all yet:   Read, learn, and enjoy:

Hi Charlie!! I didn't know you had a blog. I really like it! The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe is a classic -- I still remember really wanting to eat Turkish Deligh after reading it (somehow my mind always hones in on food wherever it's found). 1984 reminds me too much of High School English, but I still sometimes think of it every time I am in a rat-infested park in NYC. I'm convinced the rats are unleashed by Big Brother and he's trying to tell me something. Ok, not really, but that "scene" in the book has remained firmly implanted in my mind.

You know, I should probably add some food-related books here. The 60 Minute Gourmet books and a couple of Belgian cookbooks I've read are really quite fun.

I'll have to think on this.

    Thanks for stopping by.
