No, it's not the end of the world, but it is the end of an era.
My tenure as a daily driver of a GMC Safari has ended after something over 24 years and 465,000 miles. I'm afraid the 2001 has finally given up her duties as my daily ride, making way for a new Acadia which started life with me at a mere 34 miles on the digital odometer.
It's going to take some time to get used to what's where and how that bloody touchscreen is supposed to be convenient when I can't look to see what I'm touching, but I'm sure it's all for the best.
RIP, dear friend.
