30 September 2020 - Plague Journal Day 201

Micah 6:8
Genesis 1:9-10
Yes, your life matters.

We all are still sheltering in place, but I'm here to keep you sane and entertained.
One could hardly ask for much more than that, now could one?

Wow! Today is International Thunderbirds Day! No, not the cars, and not the Native American ones either - it's the "Thunderbirds-Are-Go" Thunderbirds. Who knew they had their own day?
Here's a video blast from the past for you.

Of course, they weren't the only programs filmed in supermarionation. I actually remember two others more clearly and fondly. Those would be Fireball XL5 (I wish I were a spaceman!) and Supercar (after all, it could travel on land, in the air, in space, or under the sea - it could journey anywhere!)

Amazingly, today is also the 60th anniversary of the premiere of the Flintstones. Without that show we probably wouldn't have Family Guy.

Keep Calm and Stay Away.
I'll be back tomorrow.
The mental health issues related to our lockdown and the pandemic are especially hard for people with depression. NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, has a 24 hour helpline: 800-950-6264.
