Update - 04 September 2021 - Plague Journal Day 541

Micah 6:8
John 16:20-24
Yes, your life matters.

Some of you are still sheltering in place, but fear not: I'm here to keep you sane and entertained.
One could hardly ask for much more than that, now could one?

Just a quick update - Dad is home from hospital, now in home hospice. Things are so much nicer this way. No beeping machines all night. No wondering when / if a meal will be delivered. Seeing the birds and various critters running around the back yard. Listening to the music he chooses and watching TV with all the channels he likes.

Who knows? He may achieve his goal of getting back to church one of these days. We shall see. Until then, things are nicer and more peaceful.

Keep Calm and Don't Stay Away.
I'll be back tomorrow.

Hiatus - 30 August 2021 - Plague Journal Day 536

Micah 6:8
Psalm 46

I'm going to be taking a brief hiatus from my daily posts here to attend to family stuff. Sorry to leave you all on your own for now, but remember, we are not alone, God is with us (especially true when we are with Him!).

Grace & Peace,
Charlie

Worship - 29 August 2021 - Plague Journal Day 535

Micah 6:8
Mark 7:1-8

For our 9:30 worship service we have a frequent soloist at offertory time and three(!) hymns for congregational singing. (Yes - we're back to congregational singing. We're Methodists again!) Remember, we'll be streaming for all those who can't join us in person, and intend to continue that practice indefinitely. Still, know that we miss seeing you in person - please come join in corporate prayer, praise, and worship as soon as you feel ready.

As usual, today's stream should just appear as the latest entry on our YouTube channel, here.
You'll find all our previous worship videos right there at that same place, and today's stream will stay there as a recording as well.

Keep Calm and Don't Stay Away.
I'll be back tomorrow.
